Shaylee
Shaylee graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2019 with her doctorate of occupational therapy degree. Shaylee has been working in outpatient pediatrics for two years where she has experience working with children with a variety of diagnoses including developmental delays, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, and vision delays. She addresses retained primitive reflexes, sensory processing, feeding concerns, and fine and gross motor delays through play and daily activities. Shaylee has completed continuing education courses in the areas of Vision and Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding. Her doctoral capstone was completed on her special interest in the importance of developmental follow-up for infants born pre-term, at risk, or post-NICU stay.
In her free time, Shaylee enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and being active outdoors. Shaylee and her husband, Austin, often find themselves exploring hiking trails, relaxing at the lake, and walking their dog.
